Childrens Ministry

Chestertown Baptist Church has a wonderful Children’s ministry. From newborn to pre-teen there is something for all.
Sunday AM Ministries: Newborn to 3 yrs. old have beautiful, well-supervised nurseries and sunday school classes with trained, loving teachers. 4 yrs. old to 6th grade have seperate Sunday school classes as well as a special church service just for them. They are taught about the Lord in a fun and nurturing environment while still committing scripture and Bible stories to heart.
Sunday PM Ministries: Children’s Choir is Sunday Evening from 5:30-6:00PM. Children learn the Bible thru song and get to perform in church every month. There is also a nursery provided for younger children.
Wednesday Ministries: AWANA Clubs is for children 3yrs old thru 6th grade. AWANA’s begins at 7PM and ends at 8:30PM. Children learn scripture, play games, hear about God and learn to do it all in a fun competitive team atmosphere. (AWANA’s does not meet during the summer months.)
