Worship
The music ministry at Chestertown Baptist Church is a very exciting one. We understand that whether old or young, the talents the Lord gives us should be used for His glory. Worship is a vital role in our church services because it sets the spirit and prepares the heart to be moved by God. There are so many facets to the worship ministry that almost anyone can be involved no matter the various abilities.
The adult choir is for anyone who likes to sing. They lead in worship every Sunday morning, and also perform for other special services the church might have. This ministry is a great time of fellowship for advanced, beginner and every one in between. Practices are held on Sunday evenings immediately following the service.
The orchestra is a new ministry at the church, but is already blessing people on Sunday mornings. The orchestra includes any instrument from trumpets to viola and cello to conga drums and bass guitar. Any instrument you play will fit in perfect. Rehersals are held on Sunday mornings at 9:30.
Also included in the worship ministry are vocal specials, instrumental specials, and even dramatic readings and speeches. Whatever your talent, there is a place for you in our ministry. Come be a blessing to others as a part of this incredible ministry.
