America is a free nation. It may not be perfect, but it has the best form of government that any nation could have. We do not have a democracy, but a republic. A nation by the people, of the people and for the people. How we need to thank God for living in this country and the freedom we enjoy!
But, of course, any time there is a privilege, there is certainly a responsibility. As citizens, voting is both a privilege and a responsibility. I cannot stress enough how important it is for all of us to exercise this privilege on November 8th. It’s our responsibility!
However, I think our responsibility is even greater as Christians. God requires us to pray for our leaders. If we spent half as much time praying for our leaders as we do griping about them, then perhaps they would be more as they should be.
So, let’s be sure that, after this election, we implore God to help us. Our president will be faced with challenges of monumental proportions, including terrorism, lawlessness, the national debt, immigration, and racial division, to name a few. Remember, as Christians, it's both a privilege and a responsibility to pray.
Christians, let’s join forces, let our voice be heard and make it count. VOTE TUESDAY!
